On a Wednesday, I went to a bar in Deep Ellum called Trak & A$, and it was lit beyond any rational expectations. It felt like a Saturday night after a football game, a rare exception for Dallas bar culture. The people there were friendly, and a stranger even bought me a drink within my first five minutes at the bar. There was no line at the door, and the staff was polite and professional. Vice Park was hands down the winner of Labor Day weekend! It’s a fantastic venue featuring a massive rooftop bar, great vibes, and a friendly staff. The music was on point with loud Afrobeats, Reggaeton, and house tracks. There’s also plenty of space for tables, and bottle service is reasonably priced at around $400. Strong Recommendation.
Prime Sports Bar is an awesome new spot in Deep Ellum. They have fun arcade games, clean bathrooms, and zero lines to get in. It’s the perfect place to kick off your night. I highly recommend stopping by here to use their restroom—before heading over to Trophy Room. lol

OAK CLIFF RUN CLUB. I had a great time running with some awesome people at the Oak Cliff Run Club. We had the option to run 2 or 3 miles around the backside of downtown Dallas, near the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center. We met up around 6:45 PM and took off at 7:00 PM. Keep in mind that there’s no group stretching or formal introductions beforehand—you just show up, warm up on your own, and run!
