On a Wednesday, I went to a bar in Deep Ellum called Trak & A$, and it was lit beyond any rational expectations. It felt like a Saturday night after a football game, a rare exception for Dallas bar culture. The people there were friendly, and a stranger even bought me a drink within my first five minutes at the bar. There was no line at the door, and the staff was polite and professional. To be clear, this is not a sexually oriented business, though the female bartenders do dress provocatively. The crowd was mostly in their mid-20s to late 30s, with a predominantly Hispanic audience and great Hispanic music playing.I highly recommend this place if you're open to experiencing Hispanic culture and having drinks with some genuinely nice people.
