Stratos Bar & Grill on Northwest Highway is right up there with big Dallas Latin nightlife spots like Rodeo, Boulevard, and Cash Cow. You can tell they put real money into the setup, with a two-story layout and comfortable white and turquoise VIP booths framing the dance floor. The crowd brings together people from all over South America and the Caribbean, including Venezuelans, Dominicans, Peruvians, and Argentinians. The DJs play a steady mix of reggaeton, dembow, and Latin urban music that keeps the place moving. Things start out slow and really get going around midnight when the dance floor fills up. Most groups hang out in their own booths, but the vibe is friendly, and you do not need to speak Spanish to have a good time. Admission is about $20 at the door. Parking is easy to find, and the kitchen stays open late, which is a huge plus. The food is reasonably priced for a club—sides like fries are about $6, and full plates run between $18 and $22.
